    Course reviews

"The programme has taught me a lot of strategies that I can use to communicate better with my child. Already, I've noticed some improvement in her communication with me. Strategies that teach us what not to say were especially eye opening as these are things that are quite ingrained in our culture. I definitely would recommend this programme to other caregivers."
    Kuang, father of Claire, 4
"I found this programme really interesting. My main takeaway was that alot of my frustrations with communicating and interacting with my child could be improved with so many little steps. I definitely would recommend this program and suggest getting started earlier rather than later."
    Janita, mother of Iyla, 2
"At a recent family event I connected with my nephew by using techniques I learnt from the Kindle Sparks programme. I was asking questions that engaged him in the conversation and encouraged him to think about his response. Now I know a lot about rockets and planes. I highly recommend Kindle Sparks to anyone who would like to communicate better with loved ones."
    Kit, uncle of Kieren, 3
"How to Talk - Parents has given us the understanding, strategies and tools that we can use to support our child's speech. I found the real-life demonstrations/examples useful and the 1-to-1 sessions really helped us to "personalise" how we could improve in the way we spoke to our kids. I learnt that speech is more than just talking a lot to my kid, and Cher and Jia Yue really helped to nail down practical ways we can support speech development. I find myself paying more attention to my 1-year-old's babbling and try to engage her using the strategies that were shared. I actually find her "talking" more and can also make out words that she's trying to say. It's really fun to see how quickly she's picking things up! Would recommend!"
